Gets the point across without having to stop and make concept art, so very practical for a "close enough" example. It's the sensible place for an attachment point. As that front bit of the cyclops is the airlock chamber after all. That said, it does make for a good target mock up of what cyclops docking would probably generally look like. It does at least, from a distance as a tiny thumbnail, give the apperance of Cyclops docking if you didn't know any better. There is an obscured from view tiny baby hatch glued onto the front of the cyclops, to merge with the obscured from view point. So I guess, if that is supposed to represent Cyclops docking. It's just a picture of the Cyclops essentially crashing into a normal set of hallways. But it's too short to have an endcap airlock. You can even see the topside hatch to get into the hallway normally when swimming. So what recharges it?
